Counseling and Psychological services are provided by the Director of Counseling Services, Ms. Kimberly Paige


 

Ms. Kimberly Paige is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Rehabilitation Counselor in the State of Louisiana. In addition, she is a National board certified counselor and a certified rehabilitation counselor. She is also a supervisor for Licensed Rehabilitation counselors in Louisiana. Miss Paige obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and her Master’s degree in Counseling from Alabama State University. She has 10 years of experience in the counseling field. She also has experience and expertise in substance abuse counseling and career counseling in both clinical settings and in higher-education institutions such as LSU, most recently. Ms. Paige is a Doctoral Candidate at the University of New Orleans, completing a Ph.D. in Counseling Education and Supervision, with an emphasis in research. Her theoretical orientation is influenced by psychodynamic therapies. Her interests includes Psychotherapy, couples therapy, PTSD, culture-based trauma, anxiety & depression.
