The Student Government President serves as the leading designer of policies that govern student affairs for the Southern University at New Orleans community.  The office of the president is the foundation upon which the Student Government Association is built.  As Chief Executive, Brian Grant is responsible for guiding the most influential, student-led organization at the University.  The Student Government President serves as an advocate for the student body, always working in the best interests of the whole.  Brian has served in a number of student organizations on the SUNO campus and seeks to achieve the highest standards of excellence for the SGA.  His desire is to build a more cohesive student community as well as one that is inclusive of SUNO’s alumni so that there can be a renaissance of school spirit.
