She began her undergraduate career at Southern University at New Orleans in the spring of 2011 as a transfer student from Nicholls State University. Upon graduation Morgan plans to join the United States Navy via its Officers Candidate School Program to pursue a career serving her country.
Morgan assimilated quickly into the SUNO culture and what it means to be a Knight. She felt the best way she could demonstrate her spirit is to follow her passion and joined the cheerleading team. There she serves as co-captain; sharing much of her experience as a nationally competitive cheerleader. They thought enough of Morgan’s character and leadership to elect her as Miss Cheerleader 2011. In all of her efforts the senior Public Administration major, has kept her education paramount; resulting in her being named to the Honor Roll and Dean’s List and an active member of the Public Administration Association.
