Identity Standards

Identity Standards We are Southern University at New Orleans.  The University’s brand and identity standards have been established to provide a foundation for uniform application of key visual elements that make us unique.  It is necessary that we use these elements consistently in order to project an accurate depiction of SUNO.

Our Communications Guidelines include standards for all media, including print publications, advertisements, Web-based information and collateral materials – along with templates for you to use in all of your communications.  By using these identity standards we strengthen and align our communication with both our internal and external audiences. These policies are intended to cover usage by all users.  It was created by the SUNO Office of Public Relations, which is charged with the responsibility to develop and maintain the standards that will protect the Southern University at New Orleans brand.  For more information please contact the Office of Public Relations at 504-286-5343 or email with any questions.
