Give to SUNO

GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

In 1956, Southern University at New Orleans opened its doors.  Now, after more than a half century of service, SUNO still provides quality educational opportunities for students from throughout the New Orleans metropolitan area, the nation and around the globe.

Please consider making a gift to Southern University at New Orleans today so that talented young people will continue to have the opportunity to earn a degree in an environment that embraces and supports them, helping them move on to lead lives that contribute to the betterment of our society.

SUNO alumni tell stories of how being a Knight changed their lives. Many that have walked these halls come to feel empowered to realize their dreams.   Quickly and securely make an online gift  to the Southern University System Foundation and select Southern University at New Orleans from the menu.

ALUMNI GIVING

Southern University at New Orleans has benefitted from the generosity of alumni, parents and friends over the years.  However, SUNO’s mission cannot be achieved through tuition dollars and state funding alone.  Now, more than ever, SUNO must look to alumni for support to meet challenges and to take advantage of opportunities that may present themselves in the future.  You can designate where your dollars go so that the funds support the programs you have a passion for.

Your gift will support student aid programs which allow SUNO to attract the best and the brightest students as well as the recruitment and development of first rate faculty who have a driving interest in leading our students as we move SUNO forward.

No gift is too small.  However you choose to support SUNO, it is appreciated.   As we grow the pool of donors, your gift will join with those of others and soon a tremendous impact will be felt.  The amount of giving that we receive impacts our ability to pursue grants, because it really matters how much those closest to the University support it.
